Filmprosjektet er ferdig

Tiden med filmprosjekt er desverre ferdig. Jeg syntes det var veldig gøy å jobbe med noe anderledes og sammen med noen. Vi fikk i oppgave å evaluere oss selv så jeg tenkte å legge ut min, tar bort selve evalueringen siden den ikke er relevant for bloggen, mend det var litt der med noen forklaringer jeg vil legge ut.


                        Description of the problem/incident you have chosen.

-          We got the assignment: “Logon problems on computer, not able to reach documents on server, stressed out due to meeting”. We made that into a film where I am the stressed out person, Arne and Amalie sits in the helpdesk and Petter is the IT-technician. 

                        Solution to the problem/incident you have chosen

  -          We found out that I had most likely dropped out of the domain, and therefore no longer got access.

Description of how the IT tech can professionally handle the customer/user and how the solution can be used by them.

-          The support guys have to be understanding and patient with the stressed person. They have to listen to the customer and try to understand. The user can not really do this themselves, because you have to it in the server, which they are not supposed to have access to.

Description of the IT-relevant expressions/words  used in the film, in both English and Norwegian

-          Server Administrator – the person in charge of the server/ Personen som har ansvar for serveren.

-          Error message – a message that tells you something went wrong/ en melding du får med en feilmelding. Evt at ingenting går.

-          Domain – A group of networked computers that share a common communications address/ En gruppe pcer i samme nettverk som deler samme kommunikasjonsadresse.

-          Server – computing a computer or program that supplies data or resources to other machines on a network/ Beregner en pc eller et program som gir ut data eller resurser til andre maskiner eller nettverk.

-          Active Directory – this is a Microsoft service that provides a common interface for organizing and maintaining information related to resources connected to a variety of network directories/ dette er en av Microsofts tjenester for organisering og vedlikeholding av informasjon relater til resurser tilknyttet til ett større spekter av nettverk kataloger.

-          Logon script – this is files that can be assigned to other user accounts. It runs automatically every time a user logs on/ dette er filer som kan bli tilordnet til brukerkontoer. Det kjører automatisk når denne brukeren logger på.

-          “Mapped up” – Something is mapped up when it is shown in the “computers” map in the starting menu/ Noe er mapped up når det vises i mappen under “datamaskiner” i startmenyen på pcen din.
